Research, advocacy and capacity building are core areas of Nirantar’s work. Nirantar’s research and advocacy work seeks to strategically impact policy-level discussions and debates on issues related to gender and education. We fulfill our mandate of creating and disseminating knowledge by publishing reports, papers and making presentations in different fora.

Nirantar builds capacities and provides technical support to organisations and programmes in the areas of gender, educational pedagogy, material and curriculum development. Since its inception Nirantar has conducted training programmes for a range of groups and organisations.
