Nirantar's library has books and documents on issues such as gender, education, communalism, violence and development. The library also has a large collection of fiction, encyclopedias and other educational resource materials. In addition to printed matter, the library stocks audio-visual material – mainly documentary films and educational CD-ROMs. The library subscribes to a variety of magazines and journals as well as daily newspapers. Newspaper clippings on gender issues are maintained regularly. A photocopy machine is also available for use.

Membership is open to individuals, students, researchers and institutions in Delhi, but is not a pre-requisite to access the resources available in the library.
